JERRY MASON
Assistant vice president, Citizens Business Bank
Jerry Mason is the assistant vice president and relationship manager of Citizens Business Bank in Laguna Hills. Mason took CBB’s worst-performing branch, in Saddleback Valley, and turned it into Citizen Bank’s Branch of the Year. He joined the company in mid-2007 with little personal market exposure and has since ranked in the top 10 of bank officers for producing results that have surpassed the combined totals other Citizen Banker managers.
Most important lesson learned:
You miss 100 percent of the shots you never take.
