Scott Graham founded his company based on the needs of others. Through his Newport Beach-based personal concierge service, Graham can help busy people get whatever it is they need – flight arrangements, research, errand-running. And he’s found a niche – with the help of the company’s global network of concierge professionals, XPACS serves clients that include celebrities, doctors and lawyers, here and abroad.
Most important lesson learned:
Nothing ever happens in the time frame that you want it to, so have patience.
Next big step:
I am launching an exclusive Orange County Concierge Card (limited to 1,000 cardholders), which provides a 24/7 personal concierge, and offers special access and preferred rates to elite businesses throughout the O.C.
Advice for other young professionals:
If you have a viable plan or idea, and it makes sense, see it through to the end. Too many individuals never fully achieve their goals, because they give up.
What you do for fun:
I love to travel, play golf and exercise. Exercise is a real big stress reliever for me.
If you could have dinner with anyone – alive or dead – who would it be and why?
I would love to sit down and have dinner with Warren Buffett.
