Today, it is one of the fastest-growing interactive firms in the nation, and it pulled in some $50 million in revenue in 2009, landing it on the 2009 Inc. 500 list of fastest-growing companies. An Orange County native, Pobre is the entrepreneur behind the casual gaming Web sites Gamevance and PlaySushi. Sites like Gamevance attract and entertain casual gamers – the so-called “soccer mom,” Pobre says, which is a coveted advertising demographic.
