Katie McLeish wanted to give back to the community, so she found a unique way to bring young professionals together to support Human Options, a nonprofit organization that helps battered women, their families and the community break the cycle of violence. She co-founded a group called yHope, which brings young professionals together to support Human Options by giving their time.
Members of yHope have taken children staying at the domestic violence shelter to baseball games and organized Easter egg hunts. In addition, they have raised awareness about Human Options among their peers.
