![]() Genoveva Talbott has been a lawyer for only nine years, but she has packed a lifetime of service into her career. She clerked in Washington, D.C., at the office of the chief legislative representative of Los Angeles while attending USC Law School. Returning home, she interned with a judge in Santa Monica, then snagged a job as a clerk in the L.A. County District Attorney’s Office – before graduating. Next, she practiced high-net-worth family law litigation at a prominent L.A. firm, then worked as vice president for CPT Group, a class-action administration firm. Today, Talbott has her own corporation, Talbott + Kim LLP, specializing in family law. She is also president of the Orange County Hispanic Bar Association. “We limit our number of cases to ensure that we can devote as much time as needed,” she says. “This approach, together with our uncommon experience handling very complex, high-asset matters, has served us very well.” OC METRO'S 2011 40 UNDER 40 Natashia Tomek | Mike Sheets and Avi Pai | Doug Francis Genoveva Meza Talbott | Matt Prince | Ash Kumra | Mike Levin Nicole Suydam | Tony DiCostanzo | John Yarrington Berenika Schmitz | Naushad Huda | Jasun Weiner | Matt Brown Matthew K.
