Matt Brown’s passion is dealing with philanthropists and entrepreneurs who don’t want to see their profits disappear in taxes. His efforts have resulted in his being named a Southern California SuperLawyer Rising Star in 2008, 2009 and 2010. The California State Bar Board of Legal Specialization has designated Brown as a certified specialist in estate planning, trust and probate law. He also speaks before local and national audiences of attorneys, CPAs and financial advisers as an expert on taxation. This year he will be speaking at Notre Dame Law School.
His dedication to the community includes being a charter member of the UCI Paul Merage School of Business Center for Investment and Wealth Management, and a member of the advisory committee for the Ronald Reagan Presidential Foundation. A devoted father and husband, he lives in Ladera Ranch with his wife, Julie, and three sons – Michael, Ryan and Kevin.
