Just follow Morgan McKean’s example, and you will not only have luxe living, but be saying “go green.” She runs a website that gives beauty, fashion and home décor recommendations on products that meet or exceed sustainable standards. An online multimedia distribution platform is next.
“The public has this idea that environmentalists are all about being in Birkenstocks,” McKean says. “I’m here to say it’s not.”
McKean has also worked as a producer on TV shows like “Change of Heart” and “Rendez-View,” been an executive producer of music videos, and a branding, marketing and media expert for companies in entertainment and politics. She became interested in the environment after having a child and started a video blog called “The Green Chick.” This led to a guest spot on MSN’s “The Tastemaker.” She is now in development on a green living reality show.
