Q: What’s the most rewarding aspect of being a designer?
A: That we are creating things that people have not seen before. It is a great feeling when we can take someone's dream and make it into a reality using our vision and talents.
Q: Who or what inspires you?
A: To be honest, my clients are the inspiration behind the designs. With ice, everything is possible. With this being said, it is an incredible and gratifying feeling when we can create a design of someone's dreams.
Q: What is your biggest goal or dream for the future?
A: My goal is to make people in the event industry as well as every day folks understand that ice is a very unique and amazing piece of décor. The sky is the limit if people have vision. This not only adds character to an event, but it becomes a great focal piece that everybody talks about. No one can believe you can build a room, car or life-size animal out of ice.
Q: What one piece of advice would you offer aspiring designers?
A: Be true to your own vision. Do not let others influence your designs. Keep to what makes you happy. Being new and unique is what makes a great designer.
