In her 10 years with Irvine-based Resources Global Professionals – an accountant- and lawyer-outsourcing firm – Kate Duchene has guided the company through six international acquisitions and five U.S. ones. She oversees 52 U.S. offices, 30 international offices, more than 2,700 workers and 2,100 clients. This year, she was recognized by the Orange County Business Journal as an Outstanding General Counsel for local public companies with annual sales of more than $200 million.

Under the leadership of partner Vicki Dallas, the Costa Mesa-based law firm has formed a group to service the sportswear and surf industry. “There are so many talented and inspiring young designers and entrepreneurs here in Orange County, who in some cases are already international trendsetters,” Dallas says. “We want to foster and accelerate the design innovation that exists here in Orange County by providing these designers and entrepreneurs with business and legal tools, industry knowledge and support.”
