Thought to be the only African-American woman CFO in O.C., Scharrell Jackson is the chief financial and administrative officer of the public accounting firm Squar, Milner, Peterson, Miranda & Williamson in Newport Beach (with additional offices in San Diego, L.A. and the Cayman Islands). She has played a major role in the growth of the firm, overseeing two mergers while managing the accounting, human resources, technology and administrative departments.
Scharrell also launched a philanthropic team at Squar, Milner that focuses on volunteering and fundraising for various non-profits, including Orangewood Children’s Foundation, United Way and many others. She teaches a leadership program to various members of the Squar, Milner team, sits on the boards of Working Wardrobes and Girls Inc. of Orange County, and is an active committee member of Human Options. Scharrell serves as a mentor for youth and women, helping them turn their dreams into a reality. In addition, she’s an active member of Saddleback Church in Lake Forest.
