Debbie Miede
Debbie Miede’s expertise in both law and finance has helped her stand out while weathering two major economic crises in her life.
She became responsible for the marketing and sale of Downey Savings’ multi-million-dollar portfolio of commercial real estate. She later left Downy to go into private practice.
In 2003, Miede wound down her firm and took her business skills to Europe the following year, serving as the executive advisor to GMAC Commercial Mortgage’s European firm.
Miede later headed back to the U.S. to accept a position as senior vice president of GMAC Commercial Mortgage. In 2006, she transferred to GMAC CM’s registered investment advisory affiliate, which eventually became Capmark Investments LP.
Last May, Miede decided to reopen her private practice, Miede Law Corporation, and also co-founded JR Myriad. She lives in Irvine, but continues to work between the East and West coasts.
