Dennis Aigner
Throughout his career, Dennis Aigner has dedicated much of his time and effort toward corporate social responsibility. Since receiving the Hot 25 award, Aigner has divided his time between UCI and UC Santa Barbara. In 1998, he resigned from his position as dean of UCI’s MBA program. During Aigner’s time as dean, the MBA program doubled in size.
In 2000, he became the dean of UCI’s Donald Bren School of Information and Computer Sciences, where he played a significant role in the construction of Bren Hall to make it environmentally friendly.
After retiring in July 2007, Aigner continued to work with a business school in Mexico to set up a research center that focuses on corporate social responsibility. In addition, he has conducted free environmental consultations.
