![]() Shortly after receiving the Hot 25, he worked for the Los Angeles Chamber Orchestra as well as the Santa Fe Music Festival, among other organizations. In 2001, he moved to New York, accepting a position as president and chief executive officer of the Caramoor Center for Music and Arts, but eventually made his way back to Santa Fe to work for the Santa Fe Desert Chorale. In 2007, Vollmer moved on to become the executive director of Conspirare, in Austin, Texas, where he has worked for the past two years.
