Customer Service Delivery Platform (CSDP) on Wednesday announced that it has been recognized as a “green business” by the Institute for Green Business Certification, following an audit of the Irvine-based company’s U.S. business operations.
The software firm met all of the criteria in order to be honored by the IGBC, one of only two organizations to certify business environmental practices worldwide. CSDP reps hope to experience a bottom line benefit due to the new award.
CSDP established several green initiatives, including a number of programs to reduce the company’s carbon footprint. These moves allow companies to respond efficiently to business and environmental changes.
Currently, the CSDP relies on its Service Management Relationship Software, which creates a “revenue generator rather than a cost center,” according to compay reps. The firm focuses on providing its clients with flexible software that cooperates with the specific needs of the given company, and easily meshes with their current software.
