DGWB commemorates 25th anniversary with community service

The Santa Ana-based advertising agency marks its silver anniversary with a list of philanthropic goals to achieve within the year

Santa Ana-based DGWB Advertising and Communications kicks off its 25th anniversary with a list of 25 ways it plans to give back to the community this year.

“We’ve spent the past 25 years advising clients that trust, community-connectedness and giving back are the building blocks of a successful brand,” said Mike Weisman, agency president and co-founder (and the “W” in DGWB). “What better opportunity than our 25th anniversary to again practice what we preach? DGWB owes its success to its community – and these 25 initiatives allow us to demonstrate this gratitude throughout the year.”

Agency personnel and staff of DGWB selected the 25 services and activities that the group will engage in over the course of the year. A few that made the cut include granting a $2,500 scholarship to an advertising student at CSUF each year for the next five years; staffing 25 volunteers for beach-cleanup events; serving 250 hours for local pro-bono clients; and adopting 25 families for the holidays.

DGWB will update its Facebook page and special anniversary tab on its website to keep the public informed on its progress of achieving its goals.

DGWB is a leading Orange County firm that provides general market advertising, creative, promotions, interactive media and public relations services. The firm provides services to a number of clients including Toshiba, KFC, and Children’s Hospital of Orange County.
