D-Link introduces mydlink+ app for iPad and Android
The network and security management company offers a new way to keep an eye on the important things

D-Link, a connectivity company, has created the mydlink+ app for iPad and Android tablets to enable customers to monitor their home or small office from anywhere at any time. Users can monitor up to four network cameras at a time from any tablet device.
The app operates in concert with mydlink-enabled network security or surveillance cameras, allowing users to monitor homes or businesses from anywhere. Daniel Kelley, associate vice president of marketing for D-Link North America, said the tablet app was a natural addition to the company’s mobile-access products.
"Our new tablet apps join D-Link's suite of monitoring tools to help consumers and small business owners manage their remote surveillance needs on-the-go," Kelley said. "It's now easier than ever to see and hear what's going on at home or at the office without being tied to a computer. All you need is a mydlink-enabled camera and an iPad or Android tablet to monitor everything that's important to you.”
The mydlink+ app allows customers to save snapshots to their tablet, switch between different cameras with the built-in monitoring dashboard, and see four live video streams on the same screen. Businesses, children and valued possessions can now be more efficiently safeguarded.
