D-Link is a leader in connectivity for small, medium and large enterprise business networking, and it’s now working in the security field with its new cameras. Each camera brings security solutions to all businesses that need local or remote monitoring. The cameras have applications such as day and night viewing, megapixel sensors, high-power zoom and Power over Ethernet – PoE – support.

D-Link’s three cameras are the DCS-3110, a day and night megapixel camera with PoE support, 1.3-megapixel progressive scan CMOS sensor and 6-millimeter lens; the DCS-3410, a day and night camera with CCD sensor and PoE support; and the DCS-3415 day and night camera with 18x optical zoom lens and a progressive scan CCD sensor for obtaining clear pictures of moving objects.

The three cameras can be used without power outlets – they use PoE for power and data transmission over one Ethernet cable – and support streaming of MPEG-4 and MJPEG video for better quality and bandwidth, as well as many other features.

The company is excited about the new camera features because of their high-tech capabilities: “No matter what the lighting environment, these cameras provide outstanding picture quality and offer user-friendly features, flexible connectivity and convenient remote monitoring capabilities,” says Chris Wong, D-Link’s director of product management.
