![]() Arash Navari, the restaurant’s creative director and a well-known DJ, and his managing partner Navid Firoozi have created a luxurious, sultry ambiance for guests to enjoy. iLounge boasts decadent décor, VIP rooms and chandeliers, as well as the uniquely designed Penthouse Room, Red Room and Wine Room. On almost any given night, you can find 20- and 30-somethings dancing to Navari’s music selection. And iLounge also offers sophisticated fine dining with its signature iTinis (martinis) and iNibbles (food choices). Each of iLounge’s menu items is artistically designed. For example, the filet mignon is petite and lies over a pillow of mashed potatoes decorated with carrots and squash. If you’re craving seafood, then the seared scallops are a great choice. For dessert, try the decadently rich lava cake. It’s served with slices of kiwi, strawberries and a dollop of whipped cream. Navari and Firoozi hope their combination of a hip atmosphere and fine dining will draw a crowd to iLounge’s doors, and so far, it seems the new concept is well on its way to success. iLounge is found at 18912 MacArthur Blvd. in Irvine, in the space formerly occupied by Z Mario’s.
