Hockey fans looking forward to the Ducks’ match-up against the New York Islanders on Wednesday can do more than just enjoy a great game. Through a partnership with Military Children’s Charity, tickets purchased with an Anaheim Ducks account will receive a discount, and $5 from the sale will go toward the nonprofit.
If 300 tickets are sold prior to Wednesday night, the team will auction off a signed Ducks jersey at the game, with all proceeds benefiting the Military Children’s Charity.
The Santa Ana-based Military Children’s Charity aims to enrich the lives of kids with parents serving in the armed forces. The nonprofit helps provide everything from school supplies to holiday gifts to amusement park passes.
