F&M VP named ATHENA Award recipient
The Huntington Beach Chamber chose Marty Hartsock for her commitment to helping women.

The Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce has honored Farmers & Merchants Bank Vice President and Branch Manager Marty Hartsock as an ATHENA Award recipient.
The recognition is presented in more than 500 communities across the U.S., Canada, China, Russia, the U.K. and the United Arab Emirates. It’s an honor given to women who demonstrate excellence in their careers and a commitment to helping others succeed.
“Marty has exemplified the behind-the-scenes commitment, character and counsel to women that embodies the true spirit of the ATHENA Award,” said Huntington Beach Chamber of Commerce Chairman Dennis Gallagher.
Hartsock has been an active member of the chamber for more than seven years, has partnered with the Orange County chapter of the National Association of Women Business Owners and serves as a mentor to high school students.
“My role at F&M has provided me with a wonderful opportunity to connect people and encourage women to pursue their dreams and achieve their goals,” said Hartsock, an eight-year employee of the bank who serves as the Huntington Beach branch manager. “This award comes as a complete surprise, and I am humbled and honored to be recognized for assisting women in this great community."
