Dombrow & Dombrow

Attorneys and Counselors at Law

Sometimes family businesses do not work well. Dombrow & Dombrow is a notable exception. Perhaps it’s due to the mutual admiration this father-daughter team hold for each other.

Richard Dombrow is the experienced mentor who has practiced law for more than 39 years and handled more than 3,000 cases involving family law, business law, wills, trust and estates. Kathleen Dombrow graduated cum laude from Chapman University School of Law in 2008 and joined her father’s practice as a partner.

“Kathleen blends nicely with my older, traditional style of practice, while bringing familiarity with new technology,” Richard said. “So far, we have handled numerous cases together with great results for our clients.”

The firm’s focus is on the client.

The Dombrows realize that while they have many cases in their office, to a client there is only one case, and each client should feel that theirs is the most important.

The Dombrows acknowledge there are many good family-law attorneys in Orange County, but what sets them apart is their caring service. Most of the Dombrows’ clients become friends as well, Kathleen said.

“In family law, there really isn’t a winner or loser,” said Kathleen, who admits success in the field is sometimes hard to gage. “My dad says he knew he was doing a good job, as 70 percent of new clients were referred by old clients, and 20 percent were referred by the other side.”

Successful, the Dombrows are; and giving back, they do.

Richard is active in the State Bar, the American Bar Association and is a member of the Roosters charity group. He is a major in the Civil Air Patrol and flies search-and-rescue missions, and he is a pilot for the charitable medical organizations Angel Flight and LIGA International.

Kathleen divides her charitable time among Camino Health Center Auxiliary, Four Pearls of Beckstrand and her sorority, currently as an alumnae advisor to the collegiate chapter at USC.
