Ezra is a Southern California native who is well versed in everything from insurance disputes, to mediation to baseball. That’s right baseball. He recently published a book on America’s pastime and steroid use.

“Taking a case through the trial court and up to the court of appeal is exciting, but it’s really the day-to-day victories that keep our clients coming back and referring others,” Ezra said.
Ezra is proud of those times where he “stole victory out of the jaws of defeat” by winning appeals and vindicating his client. But he and his firm work hard to convince the other side to make early concessions, so litigation expense is avoided or minimized as often as possible.
In addition to representing clients in connection with insurance, employment, class action or other disputes, Ezra also works as a mediator.
The recognition he’s received from his peers include being AV rated by Martindale-Hubbell, being identified as a Southern California “Super Lawyer” multiple times and as one of Orange County’s Top 50 attorneys in 2010.
Ezra has been practicing law in Southern California since 1990. He received his law degree from USC in 1990, finishing in the top 3 percent of the class, and was editor of the Southern California Law Review. An accomplished writer, he’s published several Law Review articles on employment and litigation issues. He lives in Orange County with his wife of 15 years, Barbara. He has been with Berger Kahn since 1992.
