First Bank and Costa Mesa-based Women Helping Women are teaming up on a series of financial literacy classes called Money Matters.

The classes will be offered at Orange County One-Stop Centers in Irvine every second Tuesday of the month, from 1 to 2:30 p.m., and in Westminster, every third Thursday from 10:30 a.m. to noon. First Bank employees teach the class.

“We are pleased to partner with an organization that helps so many people in Orange County,” said Susan Montoya, vice president and corporate CRA officer for First Bank. “Financial literacy is extremely important in giving people the basic building blocks toward a stronger financial foundation and future.”
