Wealth Manager magazine has ranked Irvine-based First Foundation Advisors as No. 14 out of 50 SEC-registered advisors for total assets under management.
The 20-year-old firm provides investment management, wealth planning, consulting, trust and banking services.
The survey evaluated 348 of the nation’s largest independent wealth management firms. Banks, broker dealers and trust companies were not factors in the study.
Collectively, the 50 firms that made the ranking manage $309 billion in assts.
“Our brand continues to thrive, and this recognition is just another marker demonstrating our strength in a market that has crippled many other firms,” said Rick Keller, chairman of First Foundation. “We’ve been able to grow not only from new accounts, but from the results of our investing methods.”
