Former Surgeon General Dr. Richard Carmona, continued ...
Carmona’s lecture is a part of the Chancellor’s Distinguished Lecture Series, where global scholars come to UCI to illuminate the challenges and possibilities of the interdependent world.
Carmona served in the Bush administration as the 17th surgeon general of the U.S. from 2002-2006. He lectures on national and global health challenges and is currently a professor at the
Mel and Enid Zuckerman College of Public Health at the University of Arizona
.
The seminar begins at 3:30 p.m. tomorrow.
