Fountain Valley-based Alpine Biomed is opening a new manufacturing facility in Vietnam. Located in HoChiMinh City, the new space doubles the company's production capacity and expands its worldwide network. The new plant will produce and distribute medical devices for diagnosing gastroesophageal reflux disease, which is more commonly known as acid reflux. It is one of the first U.S.-headquartered companies in HoChiMinh City to receive Medical Device Quality Management System certification from the International Organization for Standardization and has been registered with the U.S. Food and Drug Administration, according to Alpine. ![]() Alpine Biomed CEO John Arnott speaks during center's grand opening ceremony.
