Fremont Bank, a leading full-service community bank based in Northern California, announced Thursday that it would be expanding into Southern California. On December 1, Fremont Bank will open its Residential Lending Center in Aliso Viejo, led by financial industry veteran Brad Seibel to offer traditional prime residential mortgage lending, with a mix of retail, bank-to-bank and targeted wholesale lending services.

“With multiple Southern California community banks vanishing or being acquired by larger intuitions, Fremont Bank fills a much needed void to provide residents with sound, traditional prime mortgage lending,” says Seibel, director of Specialty Lending-Sales. “Our approach to serve our existing and new Southern California clients will be consistent with what has made Fremont Bank a successful community bank for more than 45 years – excellent service coupled with a commitment to the client to ensure their success.”

Seibel comes to Fremont Bank with more than 25 years of banking and lending experience. Prior to joining the Bank, Seibel led numerous financial institutions throughout the West Coast
