Global Media Marketing creates Dodge infomercial

Dodge Ram trucks are sporting a new infomercial – their first ever. It was created by Santa Ana-based Global Media Marketing.

Santa Ana-based Global Media Marketing has created the first infomercial for the Dodge Ram truck, and says the infomercial program is launching today. The direct response media company produced the 28-minute spots, which were launched in conjunction with BBDO, the agency of record for Dodge.

Titled “Summer Sell Down,” the program, produced in English and Spanish, will run Saturday and Sunday mornings on CBS, FOX, Telemundo, Univision and other outlets. The program details the aggressive incentives on the Dodge Ram truck.

Christian Holiday, CEO of Global Media Marketing, says, ““We are extremely excited about implementing this program for Dodge and our new relationship with BBDO. The fact that this is the first National Direct Response program of its kind for Dodge and its agency demonstrates their belief that this type of advertising vehicle can be very effective for them in this economic environment.

“We have already received a tremendous response from all the local Dodge dealers because as soon the show airs the dealers start getting calls,” Holiday says. “BBDO and Chrysler love it because the long format helps them showcase their products with more detail than a typical 30 sec spot.”
