Sanja Simidzija aims to show style-conscious consumers that eco-friendly products can be exquisite, too.

Sanja Simidzija would like to make every living room earth-friendly. That’s why the owner of Art Cube Gallery and Upside Down Boutique opened The Green Cube, a store in Laguna Beach that sells furniture and other living room accessories made out of recycled and organic materials.
“We wanted to be part of the solution,” Simidzija says. “Words like ‘sustainability,’ and ‘recycle’ are not usually used in the same sentence as ‘beautiful,’ ‘innovative,’ ‘enchanting’ and ‘edgy.’
“We have filled the space with house wares made of recycled products, refurbished furniture upholstered with organic fabric, recycled or reclaimed art pieces and a selection of stylish organic clothes,” Simidzija says.
