Irvine-based Greenlight Financial Services has announced plans to expand its services and launch a new wholesale lending division in the first quarter of 2012. The expansion coincides with the mortgage lending company’s tenth anniversary and will bring 400 new jobs to Orange County.
Greenlight executive vice presidents Mary Glass-Schannault and Gretchen Verdugo will oversee the launch of the wholesale division. Both women are industry leaders, with Glass-Schannault possessing 33 years of leadership in the mortgage industry and Verdugo – who is also a CPA – bringing more than 20 years of financial experience to the project.
Earlier this year, Greenlight created a reverse mortgage division and expanded their government-insured lending channel.
"We are implementing a sustainable growth strategy that is designed to increase the breadth and scope of our product offerings nationwide,” said Greenlight CEO Joann Pham. “Our position gives us the unique ability to leverage current market opportunities to launch new business channels that will allow us to build upon our ten year history of success."
A job fair for interested applicants will be held on November 5 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Irvine Marriott, located at 18000 Von Karman Avenue. Positions will be available in all of the company’s divisions and will include account executives, underwriters and licensed loan agents.
