HÔMing in on a luxe niche
Three-year-old Newport Beach-based real estate company is cornering the ultra-luxury market.

HÔM Real Estate Group was started in Newport Beach by nine real estate agents who were unhappy with the traditional brokerage company model. The partners decided to forge their own path and in just three years, the company has become a formidable force in the Orange County ultra-luxury real estate market.
Oftentimes when boutique agencies hit a certain level, they sell out to larger firms; HÔM has no intention of doing this. And as many real estate companies in the region are closing or consolidating offices, HÔM announced the opening of two new offices – in Lido Island and Huntington Beach.
HÔM Real Estate Group agents are currently among the highest producing in the county on a per capita basis, and have set numerous records for home sales prices. Recent deals include the sale of Nicolas Cage’s Newport Beach house for $35 million, and the record for an off-water property in O.C., Hale O Pau Hana. Current listings include a $35 million mansion at 18 Harbor Island and several $20+ million listings.
The new Huntington Beach office will be located downtown on 5th Street, one block north of Main Street. The office will house HÔM affiliate, SC Group.
“As other companies are closing offices, we are truly pleased to be announcing this expansion,” says Cari Young, HÔM Real Estate Group’s managing broker.
