Hahn & Bowersock helps make a child’s wish come true

The Costa Mesa court-reporting firm teams up with Make-A-Wish to sponsor an 8-year-old’s wish

Hahn & Bowersock partnered with the Make-A-Wish Foundation of Orange County and the Inland Empire, launching a campaign to raise funds to grant a child’s wish. The Costa-Mesa based court-reporting company raised money over the summer through its “Depositions Can Make Wishes Come True” campaign, pledging $1 for every deposition and legal video sold over a four-month period and, with help from clients, raised enough money to sponsor the wish of 8-year-old Isabel.

“The goal of the campaign was to be able to sponsor one child's wish,” said Stefani Washburn, marketing director at Hahn and Bowersock. “We are delighted that our $5,000 donation reached that goal, and we were able to sponsor Isabel’s wish!”

Isabel, diagnosed with leukemia, had read that Orlando, Florida is the most visited place in the United States. Knowing that Disney World was in Orlando, Isabel chose to go to Florida to visit the amusement part and find out for herself why the city is so popular.

Isabel is one of more than 300 children living in Orange County and the Inland Empire who will see their wishes come true this year, granted by the Make-A-Wish Foundation. The support of companies and partners like Hahn & Bowersock make it possible for the Foundation to grant wishes like Isabel’s.

“Hahn & Bowersock is proud to be associated with such a worthwhile organization,” said Washburn. “We look forward to continuing our support of the Make-A-Wish Foundation into the future.”
