HireRight teams with tech firm to improve employment screenings
The Irvine-based company is collaborating with SilkRoad on a new integrated system.

Irvine-based HireRight – which provides customers with employment background, drug and health screening services – has collaborated with SilkRoad Technology Inc. to help customers better manage their employment screening programs through a new integrated system.
The platform, a combination of the HireRight Connect system, and SilkRoad’s OpenHire technology, will allow the latter's clients to perform more comprehensive screenings with increased efficiency and turnaround.
“We are extremely excited to offer our clients this capability from HireRight,” said Thomas Boyle, director of product strategy at SilkRoad. “Many of the world’s most successful companies use HireRight, and with this offering, our customers will be able to easily implement consistent-screening policies across their organizations.”
SilkRoad technology provides “software-as-a-service” solutions aimed at equipping companies with the tools to perform more thorough and accurate employment screenings. SilkRoad’s Life Suite system includes OpenHire, RedCarpet, Wingspan, GreenLight, Eprise and HeartBeat.
