Huntington Beach's BJ's Restaurants expands in Florida
Eatery is second new opening in 2009, company plans to open 9 in '09.

Huntington Beach-based BJ's Restaurants Inc. launched its newest eatery in Gainesville, Fla., this week. This is the second store the company has opened so far this year.
“We are excited to open our newest restaurant in Gainesville, Florida,” says BJ's Chairman and CEO Jerry Deitchle. “Our leadership team was extremely pleased with the passion and enthusiasm displayed by all of our team members in serving our guests during this very busy opening."
The new 8,000-square-foot BJ's Restaurant & Brewhouse holds seating for 270 guests and features the chain's contemporary décor, as well as the classic Pizookie desserts, deep-dish pizzas and handcrafted beer.
