![]() In addition to Dalek’s artwork and a display of the Phantom 4D Boardshorts, Hurley presented an exclusive product collection created by “friends and family” of the Hurley brand. This included five custom, hand-painted LDG bikes, custom surfboards, a limited edition Nike Air Max 90 sneaker and a Skullcandy Mix Master Mike headphone set, all bearing Dalek’s design. Attendees were given “4D” glasses to boost their viewing experience of the multi-colored, floor-to-ceiling art exhibit. “The viewer will feel the art all around them, almost as if being placed into Dalek’s vision in his mind,” said Jason Maloney, director of art at Hurley. Prism Break seeks to highlight what is considered to be the Hurley lifestyle of athleticism, art, media and functionality. Vice President of Art, Scott Patt, described the exhibit as a natural progression of the company’s two-year relationship with the artist. “It tells the story of [the] technology, authenticity [and] innovation of what the brand represents,” said Patt. The Prism Break exhibit will be open Monday through Friday from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m. until September 30 at the Hurley SPACE Gallery located at 1945 Placentia Avenue in Costa Mesa.
