Cypress-based Hybrid Apparel plans to move its production team into an expanded location in Huntington Beach. The decision allows the company to bring in more than 200 new employees.

The building, which is the former site of Quiksilver's distribution and screen-printing operations, boasts more than 177,000 square feet of space. While the company's production staff will relocate, Hybrid's creative team will remain at the corporate offices.

The news comes on the heels of a number of successes for the bustling apparel firm: Hybrid signed a licensing deal with the Levi's brand, as well as nine other agreements, in recent months.
