Hyundai Motor America of Costa Mesa will expand its advertising presence during this year’s college football season by sponsoring 151 game-day events and adding 10 schools to its existing football campaign.
For the second year, Hyundai will sponsor “College Football Live: Hyundai Thursday Night Kickoff” on ESPN. The partnership between the company and ESPN will include 12 Thursday night programs running from Sept. 6 to the end of the season and advertising presence in 25 games.
"College football fans wear their colors more proudly than any other fan base," said Steve Shannon, vice president of marketing for Hyundai Motor America. "Reaching fans not only through T.V. but also at stadiums where that passion is rooted gives us a more genuine connection to the sport and those that love it as much as we do."
Hyundai will also be revealing a 2013 Santa Fe that has been modified to serve as the “ultimate tailgater” and an ad campaign in Sports Illustrated that highlights real fans’ passion for their teams. For an opportunity to be featured, fans should visit the Hyundai Facebook page and post images or video explaining their loyalty to the “Show Your Loyalty” tab.
