Rest assured: Hyundai expands its trademark program

The Fountain Valley automaker's Assurance platform will include warranty coverage, roadside assistance.

Fountain Valley-based Hyundai Motor America is enhancing its successful Assurance program this year. It's a move that's expected to continue to draw in car buyers looking for a good deal.

The automaker's platform is expanding to include its America’s Best Warranty and 24-hour Roadside Assistance. These join its trendsetting job-loss vehicle return coverage, created in 2009, which allows customers to return their new vehicle if they experience unexpected economic difficulties.

The vehicle-return policy set a precedent prompting other industries, such as the airline and retail sectors, to upgrade similar consumer guarantees.

What's more, the firm improved its market share at a quick rate in 2009, due in part to the program.
