Lake Forest-based I-Flow Corp. announced Tuesday that total revenue for the first quarter of 2009 increased 9 percent to $30.9 million, compared to $28.4 million for the first quarter of 2008.I-Flow designs, develops and markets technologically advanced, low-cost pain-relief delivery systems and innovative surgical products for alleviating post-surgical pain and surgical site care. Regional Anesthesia (RA) sales of the company’s flagship ON-Q product lines also increased 9 percent during first quarter 2009 to $24.7 million compared to $22.6 million for last year’s first quarter. Sales of acute care products, which include RA sales and AcryMed Incorporated (AcryMed) revenues, increased 10 percent for the first quarter of 2009 to $25.5 million compared to $23.2 million for the first quarter, 2008.
