  • Irvine-based IOGEAR Inc. is introducing a new device that makes switching between work and home electronics easier. The HDMI Control Center allows individuals to manage their home office and media components with the touch of a button.

The product's wireless keyboard, which comes with a built-in laser trackball, offers the ability to navigate, switch and interact with HDMI-connected computers and devices. The control center removes the need for extra equipment by running all content from one HDTV.

"For example, users can switch from a favorite HD movie on a Blu-ray player, to the computer, viewable on the HDTV, to quickly send an e-mail and then return to the film," according to a statement from IOGEAR.

Convenience is a major must for many consumers, and the company is working to keep its newest products simple but revolutionary.
