IVC, continued ...

IVC’s staff will have access to the latest innovative technology and instructional delivery options to students. The BSTIC allows students and faculty to link classroom theory with real-world practices in computer information systems and technologies, accounting, real estate, business management and marketing.

“These are cutting-edge learning and meeting environments,” says Roger Owens, dean of Business Sciences. “What’s more, when business managers in Orange County want to rent an innovative executive conference room, a state-of-the-art multimedia-equipped auditorium or high-tech space for small group meetings, they now have the Irvine Valley College Business Sciences and Technology Innovation Center (BSTIC) to meet their needs.”

Refreshments and tours of the building will be available inside the BSTIC Media Resource Center following the ceremony.
