Independence Bank relocates South County branch
The office will move from Marbella Plaza to Plaza Del Rio at the end of the week.

Photo by iQoncept – FotoliaAfter four years in San Juan Capistrano’s Marbella Plaza, Newport Beach-based Independence Bank is relocating its South County branch to the Plaza Del Rio off Camino Capistrano, just a few miles down the road.
The current location will be open for business until 1 p.m. on Friday and will reopen at its new branch on March 21.
The move will give customers improved access to the 5 freeway; a larger, traditional open design; and all the latest in technology, including a lobby computer designed to demonstrate the bank’s online system.
Founded in 2004, Independence Bank provides big-bank services with an emphasis on building strong community relationships. In 2008, the company received the Business of the Year award from the San Juan Capistrano Chamber of Commerce.
