8 O.C. firms make InformationWeek 500
The program honors the most innovative users of business-related technology in the country.

Eight Orange County companies made this year’s InformationWeek 500 list of firms that are setting the bar for the use of business technology.
In all, about 60 California companies made the list, the 22nd compiled by the business-technology media brand.
"As we start to emerge from the worst recession in decades, the IT focus is now on driving growth – new sources of revenue, new relationships with customers, even new business models,” said InformationWeek Editor-In-Chief Rob Preston. “This year's ranking placed special emphasis on those companies and business-technology executives leading that charge."
Local firms included in the InformationWeek 500 list are Agility Holdings, Newport Corp. and Taco Bell Corp., all located in Irvine; UST Global in Aliso Viejo; Wet Seal Inc. in Foothill Ranch; the TriZetto Group in Newport Beach; Mitsubishi Motors North America in Cypress; and Ingram Micro in Santa Ana.
