![]() The Irvine Chamber Emerging Professionals group aims to help develop professionals who starting out their careers in the Irvine community through educational seminars and networking mixers. Concordia’s School of Business and Professional Studies has agreed to sponsor the youth summit. “Our vision is to create an event that provides participants with an opportunity to obtain leadership skills that are crucial for success in today’s fast-paced business world,” said Ed Linck, who leads business development at the Chamber and the summit’s creator. “The Leadership Summit offers young professionals the ability to make personal connections with top executives of major corporations.” Other organizations working with the Chamber on the summit will be Big Brothers Big Sisters of Orange County, Elite OC, Future Leaders of Our Community, Newport Beach Jaycees and OCTANe. The ribbon cutting ceremony will feature food and drinks as well as possible presentations by youth organizations and Linck.
