Relocating to this key business hub in Orange County will enhance the efficiency of our operations, allowing us to serve our clients even more effectively,” says Dean Samsvick, managing partner of KPMG’s Orange County office. The new building also fits within KPMG's goal to become more environmentally friendly: 20-40 Pacifica was designed with environmental and operational efficiencies such as landscaping irrigated with reclaimed water; irrigation controls that monitor weather conditions; low-flow sensor-activated plumbing fixtures; reduced-energy sensor-controlled lighting; and high-efficiency air systems. In the past six months alone, Irvine Co. has leased 3.6 million square feet of space. Irvine Spectrum is home to more than 65,000 jobs; 1.2-million-square-foot outdoor shopping and dining destination; and housing opportunities. KPMG plans to move from its current office in Costa Mesa in May. Related headlines OC METRO Minute Jan. 8: American Apparel signs lease with Voit Irvine Co.
