Irvine-based Gateway is launching its new back-to-school PCs – the small-form factor SX Series and the DX Series mini-tower line.

Both the SX Series and DX Series feature unique design elements, such as the digital photo frame button for slideshow viewing and a device deck on top of the chassis to rest a camera, MP3 player or camcorder while it’s connected to the USB port. Additionally, both series have a rear cable management hook, making it easy to transfer the PC from one location to another.

The SX Series is Gateway’s first small-form factor desktop line. Its compact design is ideal for a cramped dorm room, kitchen or den. With 4 GB of memory, Intel C2Q 8200 processor and Integrated Intel Graphics, the first available model in the series retails for $499.99.
