Irvine-based Epicor Software Corp. is equipping The Metropolitan Opera in New York with its Retail Software as a Service system to support the organization's sales operations.

The newly renovated Met Opera Shop, located within The Metropolitan Opera House, is integrating its existing technology with Epicor's software to help the team run an efficient and effective store.

Epicor's Software as a Service program provides retailers with store, merchandising, audit and operations management, as well as customer relationship management modules.

“We’re honored to be involved with The Met to help strengthen its retail operations,” says David Henning, the company's retail executive vice president and general manager. “Our SaaS (Software as a Service) model is ideal for organizations such as The Met that need a proven solution that offers low total cost of ownership, coupled with access to a team of technology and retail industry experts.”
