Jamboree has pledged to reserve approximately 10 percent of the homes at each new project for people with special needs. The Doria Apartment Homes community is the first step in the ICLT’s commitment to creating approximately 5,000 units of affordable housing in the next 15 years. The ICLT is already in Phase II at Doria, planning the addition of 74 more apartments. “This project moves forward our long-term commitment to provide a full spectrum of housing,” says Sukhee Kang, Mayor of Irvine. “A mix of affordability in our housing is critical to the long-term success of our economy and our community.” The Doria Apartments feature garden-style buildings, courtyards, a community garden, a community center and swimming pool, as well as ENERGY STAR appliances in each apartment, which highlights Jamboree’s devotion to sustainability. The new apartments are located at 1000 Crested Bird in Irvine.
