Diamond Apartment Homes continued ...

Diamond will also provide fully funded ongoing support services to its residents through Telecare Corp., Orange County Health Care Agency's full-service partner. Under MHSA, eligible residents will receive help on a 24-7 basis.

Irvine-based KTGY Group Inc., Architecture and Planning, was the architect for the project, which offers fully furnished units that include Energy Star appliances, window and floor coverings, storage closets and private outdoor space. A 2,500-square-foot resident services center offers case management offices, a teaching kitchen, multipurpose room and computer lab.

The residential community is also built with a green design, providing cost-savings benefits to residents. It is expected to be Jamboree's first GreenPoint Rated development.

"By creating savings in utility costs, Jamboree further promotes the long-term sustainability of this affordable community," says David Orbitz, principal and designer with KTGY.

The grand opening of Diamond Apartment Homes takes place Tuesday at 11 a.m. at 1310 W. Diamond St.

Jamboree Housing Corp. is a nonprofit company that develops, acquires, renovates and manages permanently affordable rental and ownership housing for lower-income families and seniors throughout California.
