A total of 17,872 aircraft took off and landed there last month, a 1.5 percent decrease from May 2010. General aviation activity made up 61 percent of total aircraft operations last May and slid 0.9 percent from 2010. The airport oversaw four military operations last month, compared to two in May 2010.
